Confused well

Todd

MJF's dyskenisia scares the hell out of me.
It makes me wonder when I will get that bad?

Default you worry to much Mary!

IF you are like most of us, you'll get some dyskinesia 10 years or so down the road. But in all likelyhood you will never experience any at all. IF nothing else, a DBS will take care of any of those symptoms.
DO not sweat things in the distant future!!
when and if they occur you will deal with them like the rest of us!
in the mean time keep exercising!!

Just watched it for the first time.
I found it very hard to watch.
I'm going to a PD conference on Sat.
3 main speakers. First on "Advances in the treatment of PD" , Second on "Deep-brain Stimulation Therapy, and third on " Obsessive/compulsive effects of some medications and the impact on a young family. Will be all day, but I think a well day planned.

The answer, like Chasmo said, is maybe never. You have to be realistic about this and understand that MJF has his own history with the disease. And it's his history, not yours. There are many people, like John Ball for instance, who have been on Sinemet for around 30 years and don't look anything like MJF.

You cannot control the past, and you don't know what the future may bring. All you can control is today, right here and right now. So be smart about your health, both physical and emotional, and you'll do great!

From me to you...
