Default Need prayers for making a tough choice

I have MS, and the fatigue is getting to me. I've been trying to decide what's really important to me and have been praying for guidance.

I'm in a job I like with a very supportive boss. She has bent over backwards to accomedate me. But lately I've been noticing some serious mistakes on my part. We are very customer driven, being an insurance agency, so these mistakes can be costly.

Also my home is a mess. My hubby is supportive and tries to do what he can, but the disorganization is getting to me.

Please help me pray to find out what He would like me to do. Should I keep working or should I concentrate on home while I still can? Or for patience and wisdom to know when work has become too much and for strength to keep on trucking until that time comes.

Thank you for any prayers regarding this.

Consider it an ongoing effort, Fin. The choice was hard for me when my time came, but I felt led to my decision and have never regretted my choice. Yours will come but maybe, "not in our timing".

If you decide to slow down, what about cutting your hrs at work??
Would that be an option?

I'm dealing with the same exact thing right now. I also work in an insurance agency and my boss is very supportive. I can't say enough about what he has done.

I thinking of you.

I feel so blessed. Thanks for your prayers everyone.

I already work part time, but even that has been getting hard.

But I got a "wait and see" idea out of the blue last night. We have some things coming up for our office and I feel really led to wait until those things are done before I explore this decision again.

So I guess patience and strength is what I need right now while I'm in the waiting room. God has placed me in there before, and each time I do learn something.

Hi Fin, of course we'll pray with you to make the right decision. I remember when Jim had to quit working. It was the toughest decision to make. He was in college and about to graduate. He never got to use that degree but in the end it was the best decision. His health was failing far more while working around the stress and physical barriers. I pray that you'll come to the decision that is best for you.

It does take lots of patience and support from your family and work place. If you have that then wait and see may be the best thing for you right now. In the mean time, I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Fin~~ That's a big decision... I had to make the step a yr and a half ago to quit work. I too, had a great job, great boss... but, just couldn't keep the pace up any longer. I have not regretted it one bit.

I'm sure you will know what to do... Pray for a sign... That's what I did.

Good luck and do let us know how things are going!
