Unhappy Frighten - *UPDATE - Back from the Hospital*

Too scary! I don't know if I had a
seizure or what, but I woke up,
completely confused in a daze.
Felt so frightened, and felt like
running away. I got my clothes
on, and how I did it - I'm not sure,
but I went outside and ran down
the street and it was cold. Then
I felt so lost, it was dark and I'm
so scared that I'm crying!

I forgot which one was my house,
so I walked, shivering in the cold,
and I saw what looked like my
house. I was so confused then
I saw my cat and yes, my house.
I got back inside, so frightened
and have no idea what happened
or why. I cry again. And I want
to sleep but I feel like I'm rising
inside of me, can't explain it.
I hear sounds which makes no
sense, and its hard for me to see,
and the light keeps coming and
going. All of this one thing after
another. So confused, makes no
sense. All jumbled up. Comes
and goes so quickly. Scary!

((((sharon)))))

did you get back to sleep? you may not have been fully awake.

is this the first time this has happened? my daughter..lil'monkey who is 13...sleep walks. sometimes she is semi awake, but just can't make sense of what is going on. like she is walking in a dream and everything around her is "hightened".

she has to sleep with her door locked. i have the key actually in the lock on the outside.

how are you today? i wish i had been up last night. update when you can.

Arrow Back from the Hospital after 5 PM

Thanks everyone and
Sorry I didn't make sense on the
original post ...

-------------------------------

I am back from the Hospital;
My Neuro and Primary had ordered me
to go to the ER and after having work-up
there, was having episodes there and was
monitored - lab work was revealing the
menses cycle was about to begin; which
I have a problem with and is lined up
with the nocturnal.

They were going to admit me, but instead
I have to call my Neuro tomorrow to see
him. They have enough EEG's & vEEG's and
already know I have seizures and what I
have ~ so I'm not sure if he's going to add
another AED or increase an AED.

But I'm instructed to return back if I have
any Tonic-clonic(s) and I will be admitted
immediately and they will go from there.
So both of my Doctors have the reports
from the Hospital so I'm on alert and being
monitored and was allowed to go home.

PS:

It was a nocturnal seizure but their concern was if I had a TC during that phase; however - because I have also a history of having back-to-back seizures, they know from my description and my son's - that I also had a CP on top of it. I did go back to sleep afterwards for a very long time.

And when I woke up, I was still in post-ictal stage - that's why my Neuro & Primary had me to go to the ER at the Hospital

((((Sharon))))

I hope today has been a good one and that the doc will know exactly what to do to help with this. That must have been a very scary experience. Glad you are back home and keeping you in prayer

Frown Saw the Neuro this Afternoon ...

Called the Neuro this morning and
he wanted to see me this afternoon
and my mom drove me down there.

He's not changing my meds or going to
increase anything or adding anything.
I can't handle anymore meds he says.

I'll have to put up with this junk!

Epilepsy is SO CRUEL!
