Frown Blue Poetry

High above the blue waves float white, fluffy clouds
As a warm, gentle breeze blows soft over my skin.
I stand on the deck and a soft voice calls my name,
With a siren’s sweet sound, the sapphire sea sings.

“Let my waves gently hold you and soothe all your cares,
No worries, nor sadness, nor sorrow will cling.
As you quietly sink into my loving embrace
Let fear find no home, I’ll take care of all things.”

The voice, so compelling, continues to call
But something stops me and says, “Hold onto the ring.
There’s much more waiting up there above the blue sea
Than the song of the siren will promise to bring."

This is absolutely lovely! It is 'blue' but it is soothing. I love the ending that waits for more than the song of the siren.
