Laugh Spring????

Hi Everyone out there,

Has anyone seen signs of Spring yet? Yesterday we had 7 deer feeding and roaming over our back lawn. They were so cute!!

As soon as my Daughter shows me, yet again, how to post pics, I will put some up for all to see.

Yes, Spring comes to North Carolina, where I live,, fairly early. We had the Bradford Pears blooming and now the dogwoods. Our beautiful golden spirea and the daffodils are done now.

I have numerous perrenials that show up in the spring. Now the Bleeding hearts and the hosta have made an appearance, plus my beautiful lenten roses.

I love gardening and Spring is such a delightful time.

Unfortunately April is a strange month. I remember Aprils where we had snow when lived in the North.

I also remember tornado outbreaks and storms. One day a storm and the next day sunshine. It's just like life isn't it.

The pink and white crabtrees bloomed in central Missouri last week compared to this time last year when a deep freeze stunted the blossoms before they bloomed.

Old man winter has shown his face again these past few days with temperatures barely reaching 38* with strong, low wind-chills. Forecast calls for rain/snow showers for a few days, with temperatures rising to 50* on Monday.

Spring will show up soon . . .

Yep, got popcorn popping on the apricot tree!!!

Once I harvested some blossoms and made some apricot soap. But that ain't gonna happen again -- so much easier to just buy it from the store!!!

Happy Spring, everyone!!!

Here in Ohio we've had so much rain lately that it seems many animals are lost as to where to find food. Last week there was a pic. of a wild turkey in someone's front lawn right in the city!!! A few days later, one of a horse and a donkey walking down a four lane road...someone apparently left the gate open??? LOL
Not too many birds migrating north yet, just the woodpeckers & bald eagles into the area so far

Tulips and daffodils should be blooming within the next wk, supposed to warm up...FINALLY!!
