Default Just wanted to share.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run thier fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, need to be restored, reclaimed, renewed, revived and redeemed.
Never throw anyone out.

This was written by the actress and humanitarian Audrey Hepburn and read at her funeral in 1993. I keep a copy of it on my mirror.

Moose, this is WONDERFUL!!!! Ever, ever so true as well!!! If so many more could just learn to open our eyes and look beyond, helping the homeless, the hungry is even a start. I say this only because tonite I helped with our hot meals at my church. To see some of the ones that come in..so happy and thrilled for a hot meal. THAT is what it's all about, the eye opener, bringing a smile to the face of someone else, brings a smile to me.

Thanks for sharing your "mirror message" Moosey!

Thanks for sharing that, Moose. It's so true and so basic - yet we have to keep reminding ourselves of it. Everyone has worth.

Food for thought, that's for sure, Moose. Thank you for sharing that. Audrey Hepburn was such a caring humanitarian' it suits her memory well.
