Default Ummmm....Thanks....
So we have been hitting the 50s. Spring has arrived. We raked, we swept, we scooped the poop. The dogs had quit bringing in muddy paws....I washed my truck. I wake this morning to 42 degrees and the promise of a great weekend.....

Then about 8am the storm hit. A blizzard. It will last all weekend. We are buried. I'm not happy I've been here for 14 winters and NEVER has there been snow on my birthday (next week).

I just wanted to whine.......Please, tell me about all the tulips coming up and the 80 degree weather you have LOL!!!

OK but remember you asked for it!

Right now in our little corner of the world it is 80 degrees, birdies singing, flowers and cacti in bloom. I just came in from watering flowers and will get off here and go out on the patio and read.

The river run is this weekend and bikers are everywhere and we enjoy watching the different motorcycles. One girl on a Harley was cruisin' wearing a pink bikini.

My DH was telling me what a great bike it was but didn't remember the color. I asked him if he looked at the girl and he said no. What a gentleman!!

Oh Janie!! I closed my eyes and could could feel the warm sun on the patio, hear the birds chirping and I could see that BIMBO () looking young and hot on her bike....thanks for sharing....

We put the patio furniture out yesterday...I wanna go out and read in the sun!!!!!! Waaaaaa!!!!

I just couldn't beleive it when the weather girl said it last night....I was in denial....

Fish on Victor? ohhhhhh!!!!!

EDIT: The snow is falling HARD and FAST...got about a foot now....and not supposed to let up until MONDAY!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!! Guess I'll transcribe all weekend....

You live in Alaska!!! I live in Idaho...one day it's 40 the next day it's 70, the day after it's snowing and 30...that's spring!!! It's been that way for the last month! The trees don't know whether to bloom or go dormant again!

We've had record snow this year which is good for the farming this year and so far so good! They are releasing the dams this weekend with 3000 CFS water flow! Yee haw...that's a lot of water coming out fast! The canals are full and they are telling us no water rationing for irrigation this year! That's good! It's been raining off and on all week so we've not had to irrigate yet! But the drag line is all set up and ready to go when we do need to start watering the trees! It's supposed to be 74 on Sunday, but back down to the 50s later in the week. Weird spring this year!

Just remember GJ, you have all that work done when the snow melts!!

LOL Cheryl,
I see you understand! I imagine when the storm passes it will melt fast, I'm not going to bother even getting the snow shovel out, just the snow boots. Good thing I left my studded tires on as luck would have it.

Tonight is my weekly date night with DH so I'm going all out for Enchaladas and Margaritas!!! Maybe I'll pop in my new workout video too and get to building my strength up...the diet is going well so I can wear that pink bikini by July I hope

stormy here jeannie and its gonna cool down next week, no tulips yet magnolias have bloomed and daffodils, crocus too and i got me a dandalion well had one its gone now i hear its gonna snow in minnesota, for shame for shame hang in there jeannie its gotta break again soon, sorry bout the snow

Oh Hey Frank!! Forgive me for not replying in the PM...I forgot Life is so busy right now....I changed back to a Polar Bear for now...I'll bring the Kodiak Back when Spring breaks again
