Default Proud Momma - twice over

Yes, my wonderful girls are at it again!

Jamie will graduate Friday from the Community College and then in July from the Radiology school. I am so proud of her, she was the first student accepted into the program the first year out of high school in 5 years. There is usually a 3 year waiting period. And she is graduating with honors. Proud Momma!

Britnee called me and has been accepted to volunteer at the local Ronald Mc Donald house. This was quite a process to get in - she had to get ref's and had an interview. Just like getting a paid job! She is very excited and can't wait for the end of school so she begin. They are also happy to have her. She is such a ball of energy she will be great!

She is also participating in the program "Every 15 Minutes" next week. This is a 2 day program that does several mock-drunk driving accidents.

I am late for work so I will post that in a different thread later! A lot to it but a great program.

So, I am off again Friday night to spend the night closer to Jamie's graduation so I don't have to drive later at night.

One more road trip this weekend but next weekend I am resting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I am certainly going to need it. Two straight weekends on the road.

It is so nice to hear such good news when you have been dealing with so much lately! You should be very proud of your girls! And you should be extremely proud of yourself for bringing them up so well...give yourself a pat on the back, twice

Take it easy for the road trip. How far do you have to travel? Will you be going it alone? If I wasn't "hooked up" to the meds I would go with you. I always love a road trip.

That is fantastic for both of them, my little lambchop! Awesome young women! Please give both of them my congratulations and kudos! They are both obviously leaders in this new generation and we can certainly use their talents and determination!

That is wonderful news, Char. Of course, your'e proud! Somebody did a great job of raising those girls for them to turn out the way they did!

I'm a big fan of R. McDonald houses. They are amazing places.

A friend of mine is still trying to get into school for Radiology, so you betcha you have a right to be a Proud Momma!!

Take care and rest up when you can.

YB - What awesome girls you have. You have every right to be proud of them as well as brag. It is very apparent that you have done a wonderful job raising them and should be proud of yourself as well.

Thank you everyone! I am very proud of my two beautiful girls. I can't take all the credit, their dad has been a very big part of their lives and a great dad. (even though he is my ex )
