Default my new pet AGAIN

I'm sure some of you remember my little lab Remington (12weeks old) that died. It just crushed me and I swore I would never get another dog. besides I have two already Missy, she is almost 4 and she's a yorkiepoo. I also have Magnum who is a beautiful yellow lab, he's 6. Well...............

I rescued a 6 month old yellow lab the other day. UGGGGGHHHHH! I swore I would never do it again and I did it again.

He is the sweetest dog. He was mistreated and neglected. constantly kicked around, wasn't fed properly and the owner never let the poor thing in the house. They had him locked in a 6 by 8 ft pen with a dog house and very little hay in it.

Anyway my son was telling me about this pup and how the owner was going to take it to the pound because he didn't want it. It upset me, so I took it upon myself to go over to the owner and talked to him about giving me the dog. (my thoughts were I was going to take the dog and then I was going to find him a loving home) A pound only keeps them for 30 days and if no one comes and gets him they euthanize
.

The man said "Take Him". I asked him if he had any dog food and he told me that he had fed him cat food for the last week because he wasn't going to waste his money on dog food since the dog was going to the pound.

So.....I brought him home, my dogs love him, I love him and guess what???
His name is.....Remington! He's a keeper and he is so loving and so thankful.

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason

Beth, you have such a kind heart! Glad Remington gets along with the rest of the Fam. I'll bet he loves his new home!

God bless you, Beth. It was definitely that little dog's lucky day. I will never understand how someone can mistreat a pet.

He's got a good home now and he will let you know every day how grateful he is.

Do we get any pics?

How's the new baby doing? Has he inspected every square inch of his new home yet?
