Will everyone who has a chance please say a prayer for my son today. He is going to a prelimary court hearing on two felony charges, including one where he was caught with a few pills of my medicine. I thought I had it hidden away so well, be he found it anyway. The sad thing is that half of me believes that some time in jail might actually do some good for him. He just turned 19 on wednesday, and he's already been through court two times. They were both misdemeanors, and I managed to get him through them. But this time there is a potential for a serious prison sentence, and you hear of so many horrible things which go on behind bars. So again, if you get the chance, will you please look to God and ask Him for help for my son? Thanks everyone.

Your son needs help that prison can't provide. He needs someone who can find out why he needs to do what he is doing. Someone who can help him stop his self destruction. He needs reform, but not a prison sentence. I hope you can convince your son's lawyer to seek medical/psychological help for him - not harsh punishment. Your son needs to see what he is doing, and he needs to want to improve.
My most sincere wishes for a good outcome and a bright future for your son.

I am praying that God will direct the outcome so that all this too can work together for good for your son. Praying for you too my friend, that the Lord's peace and comfort will fill you and that you will be greatly encouraged to continue to minister to your son and always hope for the best for him. Never forget that God specializes in broken life repair and in accomplishing what seems impossible

I'm sorry to hear of your DS's troubles and will pray for a positive outcome. I agree, in that- I do not believe jail/prison is where your DS belongs.
