Default my mother has ovarian cancer... questions

my mother has been undergoing a series of tests for the last 6 months for what has finally led to a dxd of ovarian cancer found through evidence of the cancer cells. She has had horrid back pain, and abdomanal bloating. she is 81 years old.

today she gets more fluid drained and more tests run. tomorrow is the consultation. what i would like to ask you guys is if anyone has gone through this? what questions do i need to ask? what courses should be considered, and what risks are there in these courses? i am going to bring a hand help tape recorder as my syblings are basket cases.

any advice, suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Laura - I can't be any help to you but I wanted to tell you how very sorry I am. I wish you didn't not have to deal with this on top of everything else. You are in my prayers!

Arrow dear harley

my oldest sister she is 61 -when she turned 60 -
she had a surgery to remove her uterous and all the female reproductive
system...the Canceer doctors - gave my sister -perhaps 2 years to live
if she would undergo chemo!
well -she did not take the chemo - her cancer had spread to her lymph system -
she was given "lightly dosed" radiation -
afterwards my sister who lives in france and I helped her by telling her about
otto warburg - 1933 nobel laureate -
if you can get your mothers system
ph balanced -the cancer can not live in a pH balanced body - look up
edgar caycee - he has products made still - to help the body alkalize...
my sister took different vitamins -and changed her eating habits,
and had to walk to get exercise - she was cancer free 6 months after
the doctors had said - otherwise!
prayers work miracles....

Default ovarian cancer

Harley, Purely anecdotal information: I have one friend who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for ovarian cancer. Her therapy was dependent upon whether it had spread--which it had. She did not have surgery yet--they are trying to shrink the tumor with chemotherapy at present so she can undergo surgery to remove the tumor in the future. I have another friend for whom the cancer had not spread--she had surgery to remove the tumor and then received chemotherapy. Guess it is important to know if the tumor has metasticized, how big it is, and if it can be surgically removed. My good thoughts are with you and your family. madelyn
