Default Had a Spirit Moment Today

I often use candles when in prayer. I've been going through some rough friends/family times these days and have been struggling with the fall-out. I opened mouth, inserted foot--so to speak--and have been struggling with the fall-out, I guess the aftermath for opening up and trusting all the wrong people with some private information. Anyhow, it's having it's effect on creating self-doubt....

I lit my candle tonight, Justo Juez(Just Judge). There was a knot at the end of the wick from the last time. I lit it, it 'popped' at me. Why is this significant, you ask?

Well, I've written some poetry over the months. And one time, someone commented with the word, "Pop"..... and that was a good poem, a beautiful one. And so, to me, the moment was telling me that I was beautiful.

So back to my daily affirmations....

You know Gladys, when you are feeling spiritual, I think we CAN look at things like the candle popping as a sign. Sometimes, something wierd will happen to me and I will think, WOW~ was that a moment? Was my Mother or Father trying to tell me something. Who's to say what we should believe when moments like those happen, but if it gives you a warm spiritual feeling; then I think that can be inspiring, esp if it makes us feel good. So, then what's wrong w/that. I'll bet your poem was lovely.

I liked your post and think it was very touching.
