Default Hey more money

This from PAN :[Parkinson's Action Network]

PD Priority Funding Secured! Additional NIH and FDA Funding Provided for 2008!
Take Action!
Please Thank Your Members of Congress!Your voices were heard! Thanks to the efforts of the Parkinson’s disease community, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2008 emergency supplemental appropriations bill, passed by both the House and the Senate, contains funding for two of PAN’s top priorities this year—funding for biomedical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and drug review at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Thursday, June 26, with a vote of 92-6, the Senate adopted the House’s version of the emergency supplemental appropriations bill, which includes $150 million for NIH and $150 million for FDA for this year. The bill will now be sent to President Bush, who is expected to sign it into law next week.

These were important requests from PAN on the hill earlier this year. We spent the day visiting everyone in our state and dropped off the asks and talking points.

Looks like there is something we all agree upon.

Like charlie, i too would like to know which members of congress voted against this supplemental bill. My eyes glaze over more than usual while researching any "govt" sites. Am unable to discover who voted against this...thanks for any assistance. madelyn
