Default next round of medical issues

Hi All
I've been around lurking for a while and have been really cranky. I've got some medical issues, none serious. The ankle is definitely better, finally. (Day 149) PT is helping and I have more mobility and gaining strength. I've started walking in place of band stretches for the ankle. Holding the bands hurts my hands. (No poetry intended) PT would rather I do the stretches, so I'm trying. I have moved from the easiest band up one level. Yay!

The down side of walking is severe back pain down the center of my spine and left side. What could it be? I had x-reays last week. It's believed to be muscle issues related to wearing the walking cast for 2 months. And walking lopsided with left side 2inches higher.

I start PT for my back in a week or so, not with ankle PT, but in the same place. I also got some flexeril and it has helped alot. I can feel when it wears off and am happy for some relief.

Oh, and they found a 7-mm calcium deposit in my right kidney. Yep, probably a kidney rock(stone). I go for an ultrasound in a week and a half. No pain from the kidney, yet.

I've also had allergy issues since I moved to OH last fall. So this week it's testing time.

The MS, lets see, it's flaring due to the heat and humidity and it's just turning summer here. Yuck! I'm not sure if it's a flare or pseudo so I've not called the doctor. I've thought about it though.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend and planning fun stuff for the next.

's

I'm sorry you're dealing with so much carp, Beth.. Happy the ankle is better, though..

I feel your pain....this is not a good summer for me, either. Just hanging in there and wondering...what now, and hoping for the best.

At least you are doing something to help you gain strength. I do very little. Just too dang tired and lazy. I did a load of laundry today and you'd think I climbed Mt Everest...sheesh.......had to take a nap.

Hang in there with me, Beth. Maybe together, we can beat this thing..

beth hello
stress sucks too, and can really mess with MS and sx's why not call nuero and read what you posted see what he thinks, mine works with me on the phone, not sure how yours is. If yours isnt that type be careful sounds like you have a lot going on at once, do you take anything for the allergies, I know how bad those can get. Just dont be afraid to bother him. Keep a good eye out on the MS pseudo or flare, hope you get to feelin better real soon

Yikes! Corny, what a drag. My back and legs get all jammed up from the thump-drag-shuffle-fling walk I now use. Massage helps it some. I hope the PT will help you straighten your back.

That sounds more like a boulder in your kidney. Ewwwww, will they get in there and implode it for you?

You have a basket full Beth! It seems each day someone
is reporting how bad things are.

I still am not doing that good also. Read the posts for a short time
then I have to quit because the eyes start hurting and start blurring.

The fatigue is awful these past few weeks and not getting any better.

I hope that all goes well with that Kidney Stone. I cringed when I
read that.

Take Care,
Jappy
