Default Ii heard from Teresa!

she has not had her DBS yet. Here's in part what she said.......
"
How are you doing? What a nice surprise to hear from you! I haven't been doing too hot, but mainly because the extreme muscle dystonia is causing my right hand to become misaligned, which in return has caused severe "De Dequervain's Tenosynovitis" which had to be operated on."
she couldn't type or operate a mouse. it sounds as though she has been thru the wringer!

Lets all give her our best, and i will tell her to read this thread.

Default Hi Teresa!

I'm so glad Chasmo wrote you as I've been missing you and wondering what was up. Here's hoping the hand surgery goes well and you'll soon be more comfortable. My best, Ibby

Default condition in English?

I have the same thing as Teresa i think. Charlie would you ask Teresa if she can, to translate that condition into English? OR is that it? Should i go to an orthopedist? my right hand [of course i'm right handed] is just about worthless and aches all the time. THe thumb is definitely separated from the rest of the hand, which is misshapen to the right.

help \ i'm glad to hear there is surgery.

paula
