Default L-dopa and summer heat = illusions

Hi
my father, 78 years old, he has parkinson almost 6 years. He takes small doses of L-dopa with mucuna and other supplements
He is now having strong illusions, he sees people in our home.
My pathologist told me to cut his L-dopa and mucuna, because the combination of summer heat (we live in Greece) and dopamine brings up strong illusions. Her mother who had also parkinson had the same problem.
My father is very sensitive to side effects of drugs.
I dont know what to do, i havent find a neurologist that i can trust, i have visited at past almost 8 of them and no one recommended supplements!!!

please help me i am frustrated

thank you

Dear yiannakas -
υποδοχή - I have family in Greece -Thesalonica....my cousins live there -
oh -such beauty and heat -which is hard on ill people especially the elderly.
keep him cool and -
I have a suggestion -
I believe the delusions may be a bit of both -side effects L-dopa
and too much dopamine -
please - stop mucuna and see if that helps - if it does not stop -because he is sensitive to the drugs, do not give them to him on an empty stomach,
I will pray for you both...
if you can take him to see a neurologist, it will be best to do this-
as soon as possible...

perhaps you can take him to a nutrionist -they have knowledge of the food and the supplements...
let your food be your medicine -hipprocrates quote
