Default Any great MDs in Connecticut?

My husband and I have decided to move back to Connecticut, and i am a bit worried. Last I was there, I was treated quite dismissively by the medical community. New HAmpshire was quick to crawl on board, and say "hey! there is something wrong with you!" I was dx with MS. NOT a whiner!!! so, now that we are going to go back, I am praying to find an MD to match or exceed the level of care i have been receiving here.

Do you have or know of a great MD in Connecticut? or one to avoid?

Let me know.

I sent you a PM. What type of Dr are you looking for?

i wonder if the state's MS society can give you a list of available MS drs.
and, a kind of cover letter from your current dr might be a big help.
summarizing your dx's and meds and plan of care will make you more credible when you go for your first appt.

hope you get more suggeestions from others.

I think Judy has a good idea, but maybe one step further. Could your current doc refer you to one in CT? These neuros all talk to each other sometime during the year through conferences and symposiums, maybe your current one knows one where you are moving and could network to find one for you.
