Default Walkaide Device aka "Brain In A Box"

http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/myfox/pa...Y&pageId=3.5.1

There was a story on the 6PM news about this device. The lady demonstrated it and said it really helped her.

Sad thing is the cost of it.....$4,000!! Not sure if insurance would cover it or not but it's worth a try. All they can say is "no".

Oops! My bad......well, it may as well be $40K if insurance isn't going to cover it!!

But, $4,000 is a much better figure. I'm going to go back and edit the post now. Thanks!!

I met two women who had it at the Women's Retreat. They both said it really does work. I watched them walk and they had no visible foot drop .

I don't think Insurance has ever paid for it. But, a friend was told by OVR that once Insurance denies it, they will pay for one for each leg for him. It will allow him to walk at work without difficulty.
