Using the PD tulip for a postage stamp.

These next few weeks we will be making our final push for a petition asking the postal service to create a stamp to promote awareness of Parkinson's disease. Our goal is to obtain 5,000 signatures.

With your help, we can do this. Please send this link to the petition to friends & family far and wide to support using the PD tulip on a postage stamp.

We're getting there!

And in a month a supporter is mailing out petitions in a PD newsletter to 7000 recipients! Many of the people receiving the newsletter do not have email, so we'll have hard copy petitions to send in to the post office along with the print outs of the on-line petition.

In October, petitions are being mailed out in newsletters to 7,000 people in Wisconsin.

In November we'll print out the list and send it to the US Postal Service.

We're nearly at 6,000 names on the petition. We'll be closing it down soon and printing out the names and sending everything to the USPS in the next couple of weeks.
