Sanford-York motorcycle ride to help those with Parkinson's Disease

YORK — The Sanford Institute for Savings first annual Motorcycle Run will be held Sept. 6.

The route will be through Sanford, Wells and York, and the event supports the Maine Parkinson Society, which helps those with Parkinson's disease.

Registration on the day of the ride begins at 11 a.m. at SIS, 900 Main St., Sanford, for the 1 p.m. ride.

One-hundred percent of the $10 collected per rider will go to the Maine Parkinson Society.

Mainiax Café, of York, will provide food at the end of the ride.
