Man with Parkinson's wants to change the world
By CATHY ULRICH Of The Gazette Staff http://www.billingsgazette.net/artic.../25-people.txt There's great medical help for Billings residents suffering from Parkinson's disease, says Mike Cucciardi. There's just not much to promote their quality of life. "We need to get these people out of their rooms and stop feeling sorry for themselves," Cucciardi said. "Go die on the golf course! I'd rather die doing something I love than sitting at home feeling sorry for myself." Cucciardi is thinking about golf courses because he is organizing a fundraiser to support a Parkinson's group he is starting - Helping Hands for Parkinson's. The fundraiser, Four Aces Super Hole-in-One Tournament, will be held Sunday at Par-3 Exchange City Golf Course. The day begins with a pancake breakfast provided by the Army Recruiting Office at 7 a.m. The shotgun start for the tournament is 9 a.m. Funds will be used to benefit Cucciardi's dream.
