Heart Bruna and Inga

I can't remember if I ever shared this about Bruna. When she was rescued from the mill that day, she had a baby with her, Inga. She was so scared and so protective of Inga. Little Inga was ready to be adopted quite some time before Bruna ever was, and Inga did get adopted right away.

Again, I don't know if I shared this with you or not, but look at my precious granddog. Inga lives in New Mexico.

Yay! I contacted Jenny at HUA and asked if I could send pics and a letter from Bruna to Inga and her family and she said that of course, she would pass them on if I send them to her!

Maybe I'll be lucky and they'll reciprocate and then I can share about my granddog that I never got to meet! LOL

Thank you for posting all of the links concerning adopting furbabies. I broke just about every rule when I accepted Puddin' Head aka The Little Prince. His first owner was dx'd with end stage cancer when he had just been seperated from his mum. A male neighbor took him until a forever home was found and didn't fool with him, socially. He was fed, watered, well littered and had run of the apartment.

I took him at six months and he didn't like anyone. He tollerated me since I fed him and bought him a little toy everytime I went shopping. He never would have made it in a shelter as he would have stayed at the back of the cage and hissed. It has taken a year, neutering, and a constant supply of Rescue but we have become good roommates. Of course he will deny it but I woke up last week from a very deep sleep to find him grooming me.

I fell for the rascal, hook line and sinker in spite of the neglect attittude. What really got me was the creme tabby coloring with ginger markings and ice blue almond eyes.

Aw thanks Mistiis. I just love those people at HUA.

My last 'buddy' dog finally got adopted! Filbert. So now I'm sponsoring a new one who was rescued just a couple of months ago. She was in a puppy mill for almost 8 years! Here she is.

((((Doody))))...how very cute she is!!! You are so good to do what you do. I hate what some people do to animals. It makes me sick. I couldn't survive without my baby...she keeps me sane. I have a Chi-poo. She is 8 months old now, and is close to the coloring that Bruna is. She has those same puppy-dog eyes that melt the heart.

Hee hee! I just found out that Inga has a 'brother' who is a Great Dane! LOLOL! I can just see Inga standing next to a Great Dane.

Jenny at HUA is sending me the email addresses of both Inga's parents and Amalie's parents! I sure hope they'll be able to send pictures of Bruna's baby and sister!

Inga
