Default It's a Dane thing!

Hi y'all from Kansas cowboy country--
We have had great danes in the family for a long time. My daughter has three
and she was telling me about Hannah ( fawn color ) sucking on a blanket. I laughed and said "Are you kidding me?" I've never heard of that one. Sure enough, the next time I was at her house I witnessed Hannah sucking on a blanket. Her eyes were partly closed but you could see the contentment in her face. This happened about a year ago and up to this day Hannah is just sucking away.
About a month ago, I noticed my great dane Alex laying quietly in the floor but she was doing something. She had the soft kitty bed bunched up between her legs and she was sucking on it. She has done it several times since and it is
always that same thing. I called my daughter and told her about Alex.I guess it isn't just a random thing, it is a dane thing.
Truely a believer, Doodle bug7

Geez, hope that Alex isn't sucking on his kitty pacifier when he needs to sneeze! Gulp!

LOL that is TOO cute! I've had kitties suck on blankets but I don't think I've seen a dog do it.
