Default Bruna and Chewie

Now, it may look as though Chewie is so huge because Bruna is farther back in this picture. Truth be told, Chewie IS huge! He's my polydactyl, overweight, and just plain gi-normous. And a little annoyed at Bruna, lol.

Lightbulb they are very cute...

and I can see you are very proud of them.

Say, you know, little doxies have the heart of a wolf in them!

They think they can jump up and do stuff that their little backs just cannot tolerate. Our older cat is in that CATegory now.

We have pet stairs now for her, and also homemade lifts out of boxes so she can get on the bed and couch safely. I think the jump DOWN is more problematic than the up. So I hope you and your daughter (she will HAVE to have them) consider this.

Thanks ((Brokenfriend and Mrs. D)). Yes, love these guys!

You're absolutely right Mrs. D. And Bruna can leap so far through the air. It's very problematic for me. The kids are already planning to purchase a crate/cage for Otto. The doc has already talked with them about this.

And he leaps their stairway going down to their family room in the basement, so they will have that locked up with a baby gate. He does have stair steps up to their bed, but they will also not use that anymore. They'll keep Otto in the crate by the bed. HA! He'll drive them nuts I'm sure.

They are thinking of anyway they can to keep him under control.

You are so right. They know no bounds when it comes to leaping and jumping. I have a big problem with that with Bruna.

CUTE PHOTOS!!!!!! Our dauchshund was NOT intimidated in the LEAST by our big male cat. It was RIOT! He thought he was hot stuff and owned the neighborhood until she came around. She took the wind out of his sails in a hurry.

BTW, one time she leaped from the couch one time (ONE TIME) and we thought everything was okay. WRONG. She had to have back surgery. It was HORRIBLE.

Yep, she is a hunter. She thinks she is a big dog. She will stop at nothing. She can catch a lizard from miles away. Well...that's pretty much the only thing she can REALLY get. However, she THINKS she can get anything. She also is VERY VERY VERY good at stuffed animals. Any and all stuffed animals are HERS. I pitty the poor infant that walks into this house with a stuffed toy. She will obsess on that thing. I recenlty bought one for a holiday present (for a real human baby) and she was going crazy until I wrapped it and got it out of the house. She was literally STALKING it!

Anyway, gotta love these furbabys. The little clowns and their determination motivate me.

BTW, the DOXIE PARADE is coming to our local area next month! We haven't gone recently due to her back injury...but I think we might be up to it this year....the outfits are a RIOT!!!

LOL I'd love to see a doxie parade!

I'm so sorry your baby broke her back. Ugh. That is the biggest problem with Bruna as far as jumping...the furniture. My bed is too high. She leaps from the couch before I know what's happening.

Thanks for the fun visuals ((Vowel Lady)).
