Default Come on up on porch...

Well howdo Mr Purl Lee, I ain't seen you since the last barn dance bout ten years, I recken? Yep, yep, got plenty of new babies to keep me busy...oh that be SandyC and Brain makin that rukus. Well, Sandy likes to sing and Brain like to play her guitar...yeah it sho does fill the air. Oh I got a lot of talented lil babies.

That would be JMiller tryin to tear down the porch...oh no, ya can't take the cane rod to em...he don't mean no harm...jest being a boy that's all. I guess you sho be missing Miss Evie, I sho did appreciate that fresh cream she sent over every week.

Neighbors used to help each other out, now it seems nobody got time fer their neighbors. Yep I remember when we all would save up the small messes of fish to have a big mess of a fish fry. I loved those winter bon fires we all gathered round and just told each other bout the funny things in life. Yep, I sho nuff remember Mr Tot giving me that apple brandy, tellin me it was apple cider. I sho did like the taste, didn't know it had such a kick. Ifn Miss Evelyn hadn't told me what it was...I'd got fooled again.lol

Yeah, I guess that's why they call it nostalgia, as for me, I like to call it rozy cozy memories. I miss it, but life changes, ya can't hold on to it and make it stay the same. Ya jest gotta hold on to it and live it. Well, you know what I always tell ya...don't sing no funeral marches at my service. No siree I want a lil Jimmy Buffet and rock n roll. lol Well, I don't know bout other folks Mr Purl Lee, but I want my life to be celebrated and my death to be the going away party. I hope to see folks on the other side, ya know.

Yeah, Larry used to tell me...You'd best hope you're in heaven afore the devil knows ya dead. Then you'd tell him, heck boy, Hell don't want her, the devil scared she take over and reorganize all his lost souls. lol

Yep, it sho is nice to hear all the rukus in the air...have a seat...they'll be a few more along and then you gonna have to shout to be heard. lol Well, let me point them out to ya...
Twink...oh that's my lil shiny star, such a sweet lil ole thing. Vonn...got the biggest heart. You know that's Sandy and Brain over there, that big ole strappin fellow over there playing with the lil ones is Moose.

Cay...she loves animals, takes care of em right too. Sarah...now she's a lil mother and loves hugs.

yep, we always said can't have too many people in yer life if they bring joy...those that don't send em out on a ship's ahoy!! lol
It sho has been good to see ya agin...oh stop by any time...there's always plenty of room on the porch. Always got blankets and quilts, always got plenty of chairs, rockers and the swing holds a bunch.

You remember to take care and do something good fer yourself today...

Kids...time to eat...TIME TO EAT...hmmm not sure they heard me over all that rukus...

Mine too. I stole that pic. Actually mine has everything in it homemade without the egg white topping.

Mine is homemade too and my silly MIL thought homemade nanner pudding consisted of Jello pudding.

Anyway, I crush up the nilla wafers and sprinkle on top. I don't do the merangue topping though.

Mercy! I'm hungry now! A cup of coffee and nanner pudding would be so good right now.

I just took a coffee cake out of the oven..so as Bob Barker would say: "Come On Down!".

Uhm; on second thought you may want to wait a day or two as we have 3" of snow on the ground right now!
