Shocked Cat alerts family to fire started by a goat

A good reason to take extra care when using space heaters!

Bless the kitty's heart!

Good kitty! Baaaaad goats!

My teenaged son nearly burnt himself and the house down once. A space heater (designed to automatically shut off when tipped completely over) tipped halfway and was leaning right against the blanket.

The next morning about 25% of the blanket was charred totally black. You could break it like burnt bacon!

So when the label reads "fire resistant," believe it!

HEY YOU! How are the striped legs? How's Cay and how are you and are you having a great time in Belize or are you already home? Watch out for all the spiders and tarantulas and stuff!

Boy, that is scary about that heater and your son!!! I've only used a space heater once and scared the bewhoosits outta me. My daughter and I went on a camping trip with some good friends to go trail riding. A surprise horrendous snowstorm hit just as we were setting up camp.

I had a huge tent and the others had an RV! They gave us their heater. I had daughter and I covered in mountains of coats and blankets. The wind was horrendous and the snow plentiful and very wet and heavy. I don't think I slept but 2 minutes worrying about that space heater. Come to think of it, we should have knocked on the RV camper door and said, "LET US IN!"

Needless to say, we broke camp in the morning and headed home, LOL.

I know Alffe, I hope they find their kitty! Those poor firemen and that poor family for losing their home. No insurance, oi vey.
