Default Idiopathic Neuropathy & Degenerative Arthritis info

To all
I have Idiopathic Neuropathy & Degenerative Arthritis throughout the body. It has recently, the past 3-4 months, gotten worse and I am wondering what there is out there to help take care of the pain and other BS associated with this. I currently see a pain management Dr. but it seems to be getting worse and would like to know what can be done. Anyone have any helpful information?

Thanks
Ron

Default Idiopathic Neuropathy and Arthritis

Hi Ron,

I have Idiopathic PN and seem to be developing an arthritis of some sort - but not degenerative - more Rheumatoid I think!

So I can't help you specifically, other than to say that many of us are experiencing a multitude of confusing other symptoms to throw into the diagnostic pot.

I hope that you get some pain management satisfaction from your current specialists soon; however I am fast coming to the conclusion that we basically have to drive our own search for optimal treatment and symptom management.

Hard as it may be to believe, Neuros do not seem to have a very good handle on this Neuropathy stuff!

Default Just to mention--

--that neuropathy is often a secondary affect of rheumatoid arthritis, as indeed it is of many of the vascular/connective tissue anti-nuclear antibody autoimmune conditions:
