Default 20 bucks.

A teacher pulled a crisp, clean, new twenty dollar bill from his pocket and held it up so his class could see. He asked, "Would anyone like to have this?"

Hands shot up. Murmurs and laughing could be heard.

The teacher then folded and crumbled up the $20. "Anyone still want it?"

The hands stayed up.

The teacher then dropped it on the floor, stomped on it and dragged it across the floor a short ways with his foot. Now dirty and crumpled, the teacher picked it up and asked again, "You still want it?"

All the hands were up and a few people shot out 'Yes!'.

The moral of the story is, of course, no matter what you endure or have done in your past to 'tarnish' you, you still have worth.

Heart

What we are worth is what we can still give, no matter how small or insignificant that may seem. How hard is it to smile at someone? How hard is it to say a prayer for someone, no matter your religious belief? How hard is it to care about someone else's pain and grief? How hard is it to say to someone who is feeling unloved, "I love you!" and "You are loved!" How hard is it to allow love into our lives in these ways as well? I know, I know, for some unknown reason it can be hard. But, it is the stuff that life is made of.

We all make decisions in our lives that can cause others pain, and others can do the same to us as well. That is part of our journey. We can learn many good qualities from all of it. Learning takes time, effort, and the help of good friends.

Thank you Moose!! Very insightful!
