Default stem cell technology

Has anyone heard of or used StemEnhance? It is a product that is designed to increase your stem cells. Theoretically, this can then help heal damaged nerves.

Here is the link http://www.stemtechbiz.ca/default_ca_en.aspx

(hope the link works)

I am idiopathic (2.5 years) and willing to try lots of things but don't want to kill myself in the process!

Default Fran, save your money for good supplements?

Went to their web site and all info was 'ambiguous' at best? And the COST? Well, too rich for my blood! Stem cells grow from good nutrition and good body functioning. Not from any supplement - that I know of, nor are there any 'clinical trials' along this vein - believe me, I would find it!
I've had serious PN for 6 years now [] and even the pain pills don't cut it..so I just get along with it ..so to speak.
I doubt that is what you want to hear, for sure.
I WOULD encourage you to pay attention to Mrs D and read her advice regarding vitamins, minerals and other supplements. She speaks as one who has tirelessly researched how these things have helped her and others. Also, don't forget to keep moving! Circulation to affected areas is damaged due to neuropathy and moving helps that circulation.
Now, none of these is an instant 'cure all'. There aren't any 'cures' per-se.
But, there are things we can try to do to help things be less bad and/or tolerable.
Hugs and hope always! 's - j

Red face

I looked at the site briefly too.

I am skeptical as well (I typically am with most things until I get enough data on them pro or con).

I am always suspicious of sites with "business opportunities" prominently displayed.

I'll look at the product more when I have some time free.
I've been pretty busy lately. And this is going to require some intensive searching.

I'll come back to this thread if I find anything. If I don't that means I didn't find much either way.
