Default Si fusion anyone????

Greetings...I have a dysfunctional right SI joint from a rear end collison incident in 2004. Up till now I have tried to resolve this with many types of treatments/proceedures. Injections, nerve blocks/ablations, acupuncture, PT with 4 different providers....you get the idea...

The Ortho surgeon I've been seeing since last October has recommended the joint be fused.

Those of you who have had this done, can you tell me your experiences??
