My doctor is #15! I always said I had one of the top doctors in the country! I guess I was right! I'm lucky that I found him.

I would have thought that there would be more from Los Angeles, but go figure only one with all these teaching hospitals.

based on my last appt I know that mine and his lousybed side manner could not crack the top 200.

Thanks for the list. I think its great that people are rating their docs and sure hope the docs read it. Maybe they will learn something

Default specialists...

Has anyone ever seen a ranking for the movement disorders specialists?

Using the advanced search it gives a full list, but I don't see that one.

But in a regular search putting it in gives the dr's names. I'll look some more.

Default I added.......

Jeff Bronstein's name to the list. They should have Movement Disorder Specialist as a specialty on the rankings. Presently they only show "Neurology" as a specialty.

These are only the top neurologists as rated by people who know about this website. If you look how many rated each doctor, it is not very many. I encourage everyone to give feedback on their doctor. I believe the movement disorder specialists are included with the neurologists. My very good doctor had not been rated. A doctor that I had a bad experience with had received glowing reports. I added my feedback which bumped his rating down a notch.

I tried to add Jim's doctor but Spinal Cord Injury isn't listed.

Default forward it as well

While indeed limited, this has the potential to be a very good tool. And while it is important for us to report bad experiences, it is even more important to speak up about the good neuros. After all, if every major city had just one neuro that a dozen informed PWP recommended, it wouldn't matter about the bad ones nearly so much. A sortof Patient's Seal of Approval.
