Smile Home visit for Saben

I did another home visit tonight after work for a woman here in town. She passed my test with flying colors. I think HUA will give her a green light and she plans to go pick up this cute little fella on Saturday if she's approved.
.

.

Also, my little Annsui, that I've been buddies with for awhile now, got adopted finally! I'm so excited for her. Now I'll have to pick a new baby to be buddies with.
.
Bless her little heart!

As do I dear lady...I don't have the guts to get involved...I send $$ and I know that helps but I can't stand to do "hands on"...TG for people like you.

Oh, you guys. The people to thank are those people that actually go out into 'the field' and see firsthand where these precious furbabies come from. I just don't think I could do the 'undercover' work at a puppy mill and walk away without rescuing them all in one fell swoop.

It really does take the cooperation of many people to save these guys. It isn't like HUA and others just drive to a puppy mill and start loading these babies up. They usually have to first have a 'tip' from someone that a mill exists and then they have to negotiate the release of the dogs.

They also go to 'auctions' without revealing who they are, where puppy mill owners are selling dogs for whatever reason. Rescuers go with whatever money they can afford and save as many of the auction dogs as they can.

It would break my heart.

I'm just a little guy who gets the pleasure of home visits when people want to adopt from HUA.

Saben's story made me cry. Bless his heart.....animals do have feelings and this is proof. I'm so happy he's getting a home and I pray that he begins to enjoy life again.

My pets are part of our family. Heck, they get treated better than we treat each other sometimes!!
.

I'm glad there's people like you out there.....I'm just like Brain.....one look and they're comin' home with me!!

Well... The lady was approved, so she drove to HUA on Saturday.

He lifted his leg ON HER and it was not love at first sight. She didn't even look at any other dogs and left without him!

LOL I know, it is funny. But HUA is not a hop, skip and jump from here. She drove quite a ways to meet him, only to have that happen!
.
Maybe it was a sign that he thought she was the bee's knees and he was showing his appreciation?
