Default Message from Shiney Sue and Some Support Needed

I spoke with Shiney Sue today - who first sends to all of you a hello and good wishes - but is unable to get her computer to post messages - just read them...... she is thinking of all of you - and also asked that if anyone wishes to - please post some encouragement so she can as least read your posts...

She will be having surgery this Monday (finally) for kidney stones, and has a very happy occasion coming up in the form of a family wedding - but she needs to be healthy for it - and lots of other health issues going on.... and could use some "balloons"!

*Should mention - SS's home email is not working so can't send or receive messages"

So Shiney Sue - lots of hugs from me and hopefully from your "buds" here in on the forum........

Default Oh, Sue--

--kidney stones? Yukk.

My wife has gone through those, and I can empathize.

I hope you get throught this quickly, with no surprises. Just keep focusing on that wedding. And come back here and post when you can--my brain will atrophy if I don't have to figure out a post from you every so often!

Hi Sue,

Gosh, I wish you could get to feeling better. Being sick stinks and I am sorry you have to go thru this. Enough of being sick. Some one may have to explain all the emoticons on here to you if you can't see them, but they are worth the entertainment value. Seriously, you will be in my thoughts and prayers, but here is some fun to cheer you up.

Here are the rules for the OR:

But just give those surgeons hell!!
Nothing like a tough ER nurse to make sure things go very well!
Oh and no med students in the OR. (I hate when I have my pelvic and this is what is looking at me on the other side of that blue sheet.)
Bunch of know it all snoops that violate sterile technique.
If there is some one you don't like, remember the secret weapon

And make sure they count their weapons and sponges or they will be in real trouble with SS when they are done

Love to ya. Hang in there. Make sure you get one of those patient demand pain pumps too! I could use one of those doo-hickeys right now.

Oh, and my grand-baby-girl is pretty darn cute. You gotta get up and going so I can send you pix!! I am so happy, she just figured out that I am not mama or daddy! You could see the Aha moment. No kidding, you could just see her brain working and her figuring it out. And she smiled at me, even after she figured out I wasn't daddy or mama! I need to see how much your 2 little punkerdoodles have grown.

Also, I want to see some of those wedding pix....I had to gut that out a year ago(and we have almost financially recovered)----want to see you all dressed up in sparkly things....(yes, you made me do the sparklies! And I did it, and I am glad. Even if it is just fancy earings.) Your turn now

Heads up hon! You will do fine for this procedure. I will be pulling for you.

The Cy
