Default Rescue Me - Funny!

I will admit that when I heard many months ago that Michael Fox was going to play a romantic interest of Denis Leary's ex on the show, i was skeptical. I thought it was about time he quit playing those roles. What little faith i had in great comedy writing - i always thought Michael was a great comedian; and he is showing it again on this show.

It's a little too off color to discuss, and a little hard on the ears to watch Rescue Me, unless you look at it for it's realism...like I'm sure that is the kind of conversation you would hear in a firehouse in NYC. I didn't watch it very much, but last night it won me over as a fan and Mike was hysterical.

Hats off to the writers and to Denis for his vision and to Michael for the courage to just be funny, which he does so upstandingly....er outstandingly....I mean unexpectedly ? no ...lol...intermittently? ha -it's been way too long without your comedy on tv.

i went to sleep chuckling.
