SHE SLUMBERS
In the dark night of time She slumbers, While men In darkness lumber Through senseless Wastes of passions. Corrupts her beauty, Hidden innocence Lies sleeping, In a trance She slumbers! Eyes dark Days numbered, She is all of us. I saw the trance She walks in. Sweet in heart Of spiritual innocence Waiting to be awakened From the dark dreams That she walks in, Giving to men Till their passion's spent. Her silent screams Will all but rent The heavens open Till grace and truth Come riding through To save her. Precious spirit, Awakened dreams Of angels to keep Her safe and lit With peace again! Mistiis......
