Default Living Without Fall/06 & Winter/06

The latest copy of Living Without magazine has an interesting article on one man's experience with gluten ataxia. The poor guy was in a downhill slide, in a wheelchair, and basically totally dependent on his wife until he was finally diagnosed with gluten ataxia four years after his neurological symptoms appeared!

You can't find this article on Living Without's website, but they do have some tidbits and teasers there, with a few recipes. I liked the Fall 2006 issue because it had a lot of interesting recipes, including a section on chocolate recipes!

I think this is a magazine well worth checking out. Sleepingbean has even published in it!

Default Gluten Ataxia Article excerpt

Here's a preview of the gluten ataxia article. You have to buy the magazine to read the whole thing.

Thanks, Claire, for the info about the magazine. I had never heard of it until reading about it in your post. Looks interesting.
