Default My dog is smarter than I thought!

I just got up to see what Rudy was barking about. He is pretty yappy, but this seemed different. I had him and Millie out side, Ozzy was still in.

So I look, and the gate was open! I must not have gotten it latched quite right - I'm sure I was the last one out there.

Usually, the way the gate is it'll blow itself shut and latch, but this time it looked shut and the breeze opened it. Rudy was standing just inside the fence barking his lil head off.

Seemed like his barking warned Millie that this wasn't right. As I went out, she was watching him, and walking AWAY from the open gate and toward the porch.

He got 2 dog bones.

.

Good boy!

Smile Response to Braingonebad -altho I doubt that

What a wonderful, good, and smart dog Rudy is. Millie might have been gone forever if not for him.
.
I'll bet you are proud of him and grateful to still have Millie!
.
By the way, I am not sure why you use the moniker Braingonebad, since I'll bet it's not as bad as mine. signed billie-with-no-memory
