Default Diagnosis thread search

hi all,

the book forum is moving and becoming organized. We are ready for the first thread search on posts about getting diagnosed. Chicory sent me her story - talk about being put through the ringer, including unnecessary surgery!

So volunteers, if you could take some time and run a forum search for posts about getting diagnosed, and just copy the links here in this thread, it will help to get us on our way.

Thanks!
paula

Do you want research links or just links with stories from members of the forum? Let me know if this is what you are looking for. I can add a few more each time I am on the computer.

Default Researching patient experiences of diagnosis.......

We are looking for both kinds of material, but especially looking for the patient experience of diagnosis, both positive and negative, as it seems to vary widely, and can sometimes come swiftly, and other times take years. There will be threads that mention diagnosis directly, other posts may be embedded in threads about other things.........

Anybody is welcome to help with this research, if you come across mentions of diagnosis experience please post them here. It is a great way for you to contribute to the book project, and help the collective patient voice to be heard!
