Default A quick note to say ..

HAPPY CHRISTMAS to you all.

I am spending xmas in a great way in a large manor house hotel in the Peak District, bar, gym, log fires, kids in the swimming pool or watching TV in their own room, ah heaven.

Hope you all have a good time.

Aftermathman.

And all the best to you too, Aftermanman, have a great Christmas.

Would like to join you in wishing everyone a happy and peaceful holiday and a good year in 2007.

I am just gearing up to some serious baking, and will do the last bits of
shopping tomorrow, always hoping that there is actually anything left to buy!

Take care everyone, and have a good time.

Lindy

Default greetings

Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, Happy New Year to everyone. I too hope for a peace filled 2007!
Lindylanka, as you gear up for cooking, I am gearing up for eating..perhaps I should look into preparing the food rather than just eating it. Oh but then what would my New Year's resolution be?
My Best to everyone. madelyn

HOPE.........WISH..........PRAY...........EXHORT TO ONE AND ALL TO.......

GIVE LIFE AND PEACE A CHANCE AND LET THE WORLD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY GIVE HELP TO THOSE WHO HAVE THE NEEDS THAT THE ORDINARY NORTH AMERICAN CANNOT IMAGINE.

FOOD
WATER
HOUSING
MEDICINES

SET OUR RESEARCHERS FREE TO FIND THE CURES FOR DISEASES AND LET THOSE PEOPLE LOOSE FROM THEIR BONDS OF DISEASE AND LIKE JOHN SAID IN ANOTHER SONG

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Merry Christmas, everyone!! Our family is about to start the traditional round of the 23rd with my cousins, Xmas Eve with my family and best friends, Xmas morning with my parents, Xmas dinner with husband's whole extended family, Boxing Day with Auntie T - you get the picture. I did the big grocery shop this afternoon, and will spend a lot of time cooking. Love having the two younger kids at home for a few days.

2007 will be _______ I have no idea, will be interested to find out.

Heart Happy Christmas!

Chocolates for all!
I have this theory that chocolate slows down the aging process....
It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

Happy New Year!

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

I haven't listened to enough Christmas music....I love My Favorite Things by the Carpenters...it's a beautiful instrumental. So many more.

Wishing you warm moments amidst the stress, where the real spirit, which of course is love, gets through.

World Peace
