Arrow Wireless Router overheating

We're having a heat wave {100's +} and our DSL/ Internet was disconnecting and we couldn't get it to reconnect.

Son figured out it was the router overheating so we stood it up and got more air flow around it.

So far so good.

I looked it up once we got back online and there are results about it , so i guess he was right.

Jo

if you have a small fan, try also standing it near the router to help circulate the air

we have a special elevated grid stand for our router

I just have a 250mm case fan wired up to a simple fan controller to cool my routers, does the job, and when it is not needed I can turn it down to cut back on the noise
