Again - good luck with your first appt and, as much as possible, I hope you can give us a step by step acct. of the experience. Right now, it's all there is, and I'm having a hard time accepting that. My body, however, is telling me perhaps I'd better someday.

Best,
Paula

Thanks Paula - started to write a long post and found I really wasn't in the mood. I'll type up a full report later.

Cleveland Clinic ...

Saw an MDS Neurologist - had a brain and neck MRI - spoke with the Surgeon (yesterday - Friday 29th)

We go back Tuesday, Jan 2nd to see the Psychiatrist.

Cool

Ok no rush, you are going right back anyway.

The last time I had an MRI, it was for my jaw (TMJ from dystonia) and I took 10mg of Valium. This was too much for me and I promptly fell asleep, mouth open and snoring. (That is after stumbling in like a drunk and plopping on the table). The poor tech had to keep waking me up as it was very important to keep my mouth closed and still. Poor guy had to keep repeating it until the valium wore off some and I could stay awake.

He said, "this would have me stumbling too, next time make sure they only give you 5 mg."

Can't win, one is either dyskinetic, trembling, or passed out.

Default UH..what do you see in this ink blot?

Uh...that's downtown Cleveland isn't it? Gimme a hint.

Happy mental testing......I'm not sure I'd pass that...truly....lol. If your writing abilities are any sign of your psyche, you should do just fine.
