Hi,

Yes. Medications can help with this.
My psychiatrist and I spent four years changing meds because he started with lithium for bipolar. Lithium did not do anything for the tremendous anxiety I had.

~Meditation can help some people
~Some traditions use chanting to help calm the mind. Here is one.

~walking or other exercise
~good diet with reduced carbs
~sleep
~stress /trigger free environment
~others

Here is a good site about relaxation techniques:

Although I don't have this disorder, I have a relative who does.
In addition, I take medication for migraines that causes fogginess.
So, I have some familiarity with the topic.
What Mari has said sounds VERY true to me!
Being mindful of medications that cause loss of clarity is very important and lowering them (with Dr permission of course) is imprtant.
I also think it is very helpful to be aware of important things in your life by tracking.
Two of the most important might be 1. spending and 2. eating. These two items (habits)...when out of control...cause chaos and lack of inner peace.
Also, along with the low carb diet, I have also noticed that I have more clarity doing two things:
1. Adding a supplement called PS 100 to my vitamin mix
and
2. Eating tuna fish regularly

So, i take meds, they give me mental fog from time to time, mental fog gives me anxiety.... Nssty combo huh ?

SLEEP is what rescues me.... When I wake up, the mental fog is less noticeable or severe....

Also, I know I read somewhere that looking into green things like trees help....
