Heart Silver Linings in Challenging Times?

Hi Bobby,

I am sorry it's hard for you to type.
Maybe you need some rest in between reading/typing and other activities?

I have had medical conditions where I could not hit the right key while typing, I could not spell well, letters were in reverse order, etc. It was the same with trying to talk. Very frustrating! With time and good care, it did get better. It demanded some patience on my part.

I fully believe you will also feel better and things will get easier with time.

Yes, Bobby, it must be very unsettling to realize how quickly our health status can change?

You are not alone in fearing dying. Many people fear death and/or fear being alone while they pass on. I think we all sometime wonder how and when we might pass on.

I hope you can talk about this fear of dying with friends and loved ones around you?

One of my friends had a severe stroke a few years ago. She now says that although it was difficult, it saved her life because it awakened her to life being a gift and life being precious. This gave her a different perspective on life.

I don't want to tire you by writing too much.

Maybe there's a "silver lining" in this for you, as well?

I know I am grateful you are here with us, able to share your story with us.

May you feel surrounded by Love and support at all times, Bobby!

P.S. Is the weather warm for you? It is very warm here and I am trying to remember to stay well-hydrated! Lots of water -- Bottoms up!

I don't blame you for being angry. It is a natural reaction to what has happened. You have certainly had your fair share of **** this year. You were already dealing with the death of loved ones, and facing your own mortality, and this must have made it so much worse. I am so sorry Bobby

You can use your anger to fight and help get you through the rehab process and get better. That fire in your belly could end up being a good thing even though it doesn't feel like it right now

I'm glad that at the very least you are not having to deal with that oppressive anxiety
