In the heat of the day.
We went hiking at a state park an hour away north ofus. Chicot state park. we "hiked" for about an hour or 45 minutes. up hill and down hill.... It was full of spiders webs that hubby was freaking out about and mosquitoes and house flies...not fun. but it was activity. then we drove to the end of the park where there was a pier and we walked that and tried to feed aliigator but he did not like sunflower seeds. lol so we drove home then met a family to eat supper. had a nice time. bizi

It must have been nice to get out, get some activity, and enjoy the beauty of nature (minus the annoying exceptions).

I am liking the vanilla coconut milk, mixed some coffee with it. very good!
I woke up early this morning unusual for me. Jeff is gone over night to a friends about 3 1/2 hours away. I don't sleep well when he is gone. He will be gone for a week this tuesday visiting his mother in Indianapolis. I better sleep while he is gone.... bizi

WOW!!! I would LOVE to try vanilla coconut milk, and I think it would be fabulous in coffee!!!
That is a long time to be without your husband  Sometimes my husband goes away for work for a week or so. It's rare, but it totally messes me up. I can completely understand not being able to sleep I hope you can manage to find a way to get your ZZZ's in

We have an over night guest, abigail is 18 and a freshman in college taking summer courses which she aced! She is so smart! Her parents have been gone for 5 weeks and are due home sunday. She helped me last night with some paper work that I hate doing. Tedious work that I happily pay her to do for me once in a while. I wonder if that is also why I woke up early???? I would really love to have some real coffee this morning but she is sleeping and I don't want to use the grinder and wake her up. This morning, I already sequestered the cats to the spare bedroom,(Hattie was beginning to cry) she is in the living room fast asleep and I don't want to wake her. Last time she was here the guest bedroom was so cat lived in (think cat hair/dander on comforter)she had a rash around her neck and had to go escape to the couch. I have to take a shower this morning....I put oil in my hair the night before to ensure that I have to take a shower in the morning whether I want to or not. bizi waiting for her to wake up so I can make some coffee!

I could go out to the utility room outside, it has an outlet in there. thanks! bizi coffee is brewing! I could not find the outlet in the storage unit but just decided to go into the laundry room...it is almost 8am. I can't believe I have been awake for 5 hours with no coffee!
