I know that it's a long ride and you live in NY, it must be hard to judge when to leave for the hospital. I can't blame you for being worried about being late, but I'm sure that things will work out okay.

Reading and getting out for a walk sound like good diversions.

The ice cream sounds really good. What do you plan on having for dinner?
I think you should spoil yourself today

it is a very short ride,,,it is no more than a fifteen minute walk but i can;t walk that far. I am afraid the alarm clock might now work or something like that.

I might get two ice creams and skip lunch lol
