Tongue corrupted

Well I haven't had any questions for awhile because it has taken me this long to mess up my high speed.

I can't log onto FB with the short cut on my home page and when I do finally get on it pages are missing, etc. I did a virus scan and Glary clean up and it did not help. I searched and it said that happens when IE is corrupted and to get the new version of IE. That is what is provided by my IP, how does that work, I just get a download the new version or do they do something?

I hope everyone is doing well.

I'd like to suggest you download & install Firefox, it is so much faster & nicer than Windows IE..

Read about Firefox & take a tour..
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features/

download it-
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/produc...win&lang=en-US

and the How to -
section-
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/firefox

Or for IE info & download - from Microsoft -

I hope you realize I am such a doofus because I'm old, right? I used another browser and it was fine. It did not occur to me to do that because my IP has IE homepage and that's where the link for FB was.

I know IE is not good and I like FF but it fights with Norton and I get the latter free from my IP so I don't use FF. I also know everyone who knows anything hates Norton but I am too naïve to know any difference.

thanks,
judi

There may be a newer version that may help, or a Service Pack fix.

Still working fine if I don't use IE. I am too much of a weinie to download a newer version as I think IE may be evil.

You could go for the leap of faith and stick with FF, get rid of Norton and install Microsoft Essentials, it is not as ‘fat’ as Norton and is totally ‘free’ as well.
