Default In Spite of Standard of Care, People Still Suffer (thyroids)

I'm on a health group and we have a LONG discussion going on this issue.

I've talked about thyroid here I think and won't go into my history again, but I never did good on Synthetic hormone support. Finally in 2002 I was given NDT natural desiccated therapy.

The above link talks about the history before Synthetics hit the medical industry.

Getting the "CORRECT" thyroid support is so critical and is so missed in today's tests.

If one sees a conventional MD, good chance they don't know about the many thyroid support options. I see only integrative MD's and have spent many years on thyroid support groups and working on my own hypoT issues. Most conventional MD's are closed to other options outside of synthetics. Long long history on this one.

Historically it's always been desiccated support and the the labs and synthetics came along...

Here is another short read with 68 Symptoms of HypoT. Years ago when I started my journey on this thyroid "mess", my first book was by Mary Shomon and she talked about the 68 some symptoms of HypoT. Sadly our conventional medicine doctors go by numbers of our labs and not symptoms and this doctor in this article talks about this...

It sure is a numbers game and so many are losing the game. I lost the game for 10 yrs and won it when a D.O. called in for NDT, no labs nothing, and 10 years of depression lifted. This is how the doctors worked with patients before the modern medicine explosion. Very pathetic.
