I agree 100%......your absolutely correct. I live in a unique situation and don't discourage supplementation if you have no healthy options where you live. Just explaining why I think I'm med free after 15 years of PD.......

Having said that....its pretty easy to have a CBC panel once a year to identify any deficiencies that your food may be passing on or not as the case may be.....I have never fallen deficient in my blood work yet.....additionally....you can have a complete genome screen to screen you for genetic predispositions that specifically do not work for your body such as a genetic predisposition to block Vit B6 (pyridoxine)........if the food your getting is actually minerally deficient it will show up as a deficiency in your CBC which could either mean your body is predisposed to not take up said min or....like you said the food vit values are depleted due to industrialized ag.
