Default penny for your thoughts!

The only advice I try to give to the newly diagnosed PD'ers is that I would do everything in your power to try an agonist drug, first, before going on Carbidopa/Levadopa. At least for me, I had positively no side effects for the 11 years I was on Mirapex. That's not the case with Carbidopa/Levidopa. Not sure if everyone agrees with me but that would be my recommendation.

On a different note, don't hold off taking Carbidopa/Levidopa when the time comes. I've heard from many people on this site and the majority say that their quality of life is much better after being put on Carbidopa/Levidopa and if they knew this ahead of time, they wouldn't have waited so long.

Penny for your thoughts people!!
