I wanted to post something about this creme that I've now been using for 2 months. I can't speak to absorption, since I haven't had a blood test recently enough and I use oral supplements for D as well. But it has E and A as well. Rather, I've found it very soothing when my legs and feet are tingling or have the creepy crawlers feeling, or even temperature control issues (cold chills). It seems to work very well and to maintain my skin, since I have lots of dryness and my hands and fingers, and feet have seen some serious skin changes, flaky, dry, white patches, etc. I have ordered 3 more and will keep using it. Perhaps others will find it useful. Cliffman had written me about it a short while ago, so perhaps he has also found it useful.

There is a Vit D cream on RX in the US... It is called Dovenex.

It works well for my husband's psoriasis.

David, I want to thank you for the Now Vit D cream recommendation. I initially bought 2 tubes and it is a Keeper for sure. Right up with the Topricin and MSM cream. Both my feet are numb and I've been dealing with nasty rashes and peeling skin, what a turn of events for my feet. Not that much burning these days but numb and for me I believe it's arthritic. I will but some for my daughter and her children.

I also bought a lanolin, peanut oil, rose oil product that I'm using with these creams.


On the feet subject, I finally found SOCKS that are what I've needed for years...no synthetics with poly, spandex, nylon, binding elastic etc etc...but pure Cotton. I found Buster Brown 100% Cotton socks on amazon and I love them. Helping with healing too, the synthetics are not where it's at...just more chemicals. Many thanks...C

Glad to hear that, Caroline. I think so too. I just squeezed the last bits out of my first bottle, lasted two months (though I started using it sparingly). It makes sense to me that especially if one has SFN with the tiniest fibers just under the skin being affected, that a quality cream like this, with A, E and D, will help nourish it. Maybe that's too simplistic, but I actually feel improvement. I'd be curious to hear how you do with it in the coming weeks.

And I'm happy to hear you found socks that are helpful. When things are the way they are for us, even the smallest of things are not so small and make a huge difference.

Well, I hope it works for you. Perhaps update us. I continue to have good results from this nourishing cream. We don't have the advantage of clinical trials, so we do what we can.

Thanks, MrsD. I mean, I can't tell for sure, but all signs indicate as much. One thing is for sure, by bypassing the gut, I don't have any of the gut issues with the lanolin, and that means a lot. I'll be doing another D serum test at the end of April, and will update my numbers. I'm now using it regularly, I'd say about 5000 IU a day, so my numbers should really be going up. Thanks again.
